The screens are so cool! I love how the characters move in this game, it's so dynamic looking.

I just can't wait to see this take the indie gaming industry or even the gaming industry itself by storm.

This could potentially be another big hit game.

 

It certainly has the right/best company developing it, that has a true passion towards it.

Yesterday I managed to "clean" the gamers :

- They no longer have these ugly white borders between colors, and their basic light value is calibrated to be the same on each character.

- (green arrows for the white borders between colors) Plus, I erased the visible borders that appeared because of the normal map (red arrows)

Sweet! I love Greendy's freckles but couldn't not see the white border around them. ^^' This seems smaller but it makes such a difference in the appearances. That's attention to detail right there!

Ya, it's small but makes a big difference. The models look much smoother to me. Much more professional. Keep it up Kedi.

Salut tout le monde !

Comme vous le savez la sortie de l'alpha publique sur Steam approche à grand pas ! Plus qu'une semaine et nous serons nombreux à nous rejoindre dans Hover City !! :D

Même si la sortie est proche, nous avons encore des choses à finaliser.

Marine a réalisé des illustrations des PNJ de la ville pour qu'ils puissent apparaître dans des dialogues et vous donner des missions.

Pierre de son côté est en train de corriger les derniers bugs et fait beaucoup de tests concernant l'éditeur de défis.

En parlant d'éditeur de défis, je suis actuellement en train de l'utiliser pour créer tout un tas de nouvelles courses et nouveaux terrains de match de GameBall. Je pense qu'il y aura un minimum de 20 courses à la sortie de l'alpha, j'ai hate de vous voir poster des vidéos de vos meilleurs temps (Xan ont veut des preuves !! :P)

Je rappelle que les backers auront accès à l'alpha publique quelques jours en avance (au milieu de cette semaine) donc surveillez les mises à jour

Hi everyone !

 

As you know Steam public alpha release approaches ! Only one week left and there will be many people joining us in Hover City !

Even if the release is close, we still have a few things to finish.

Marine has made some NPCs illustrations so they can appear in dialog and give you missions.

Pierre has fixed the last few bugs (Note from translator ; those were some nasty glitches that we hope are gone forever !) and has made lots of tests for the mission editor.

Speaking of mission editor, I'm currently using it to create lots of races and new Gameballs playgrounds. I'm hoping there will be at least 20 different race for the alpha release, I can't wait to see you post your performance videos (we want some proof Xan !! :P )

 

Let me remind you that backers will have early access a few days before (during this week) so look out for updates ! ;)

Sorry for the lacking proof, but reallife takes big parts of my time these days... I will try to get around and play the next update, but until then there are more pressing things to do :s

I feel like the best instances for this would be either:
A: during a secubox chase.
B: You're running down a hill going waaaaaay to fast to stop. (That could be a minigame.)

Either way, it's fast, jumpy, addictive, and I love it! <3

It's no problem, I have noticed how much you guys & girls (Devs) care for this game and I know to you that this isn't JUST a GAME.

this is a masterpiece coming to life day by day. I was only telling my friends yesterday I have finally found a company that doesn't just want money and that they genuinely care for what they create. That company was you :)

 

 

The only thing I really want to say is don't let the fame and temptation corrupt your good hearts.

I have seen this happen to many of my fav game franchise's like sonic and call of duty, where the games come out broken, glitchy, terrible & just plain milked dry of the supportive fans that buy these games, hoping they will still be good.

I worked a bit on Veelan today ^^

the last time I worked on her was at the end of january O_O
it means I worked during more than 1 month on texture/characters refining and other fixes for the alpha release... T^T (the dark side of the work)

Happy to know I will be able to work again on her after the release :>

She's not alive yet, but she earned hands :) Youhou! Finally!
