Agreed! Even if they're not putting out many game updates, it's nice to see what they're working on, and nice to be assured that they are working on stuff. I love behind-the-scenes stuff in general.

I added a third NPC on the video :)
So we have in order of appearance : the Green Potate, the Bloob, and the Rabot.

I love the new NPCs. I was joking with Tearexx after I mistranslated her fan art with Gind-E holding a note. I thought it was signed by a new character named 'Baz', then I thought it was signed by a new guy named 'Mat'. Turns out I was wrong on both counts, but it gave me the great idea for a NPC named 'Bazmat', he is like the big green Gaz-o-matic hazard suit guys only instead of green he is blue. Can 'Bazmat' be added in the future?

Avec l'équipe on va consacrer ce weekend à la réalisation d'une nouvelle vidéo making of. L'alpha publique met du temps à arriver on espère que la vidéo vous aidera à patienter.

En attendant je vous fais un petit cadeau avec ce screenshot, c'est un petit morceau d'une nouvelle zone d'Hover City :) Vous la verrez plus en détail dans la vidéo making of ;)

On vient de se regrouper avec l'équipe (Pierre est Otello, Marine est Watabax, Tearexx est Greendy et moi j'suis l'Anonymous Gamer) afin de faire quelques captures en multijoueur pour la vidéo making of. C'était marrant, on n'a pas souvent le temps de jouer ensemble.

J'en profite pour dire qu'on est au courant que certains d'entre vous prévoient de faire une vidéo avec des performances et une jolie réalisation et on vous encourage pleinement ! On a hate de voir le résultat et on est en train de développer des outils qui vous aideront pour ce genre de vidéo comme une ghost camera par exemple ! :)

We just gathered with the team (Pierre is Otello, Marine is Watabax, Tearexx is greendy and I'm the Anonymous Gamer) in order to do some multiplayer footages for the behind the scenes video. It was so fun, we don't have the time to play together very often.

 

We know some of you decided to do a video with well-directed performance and we support this! We can't wait to see the result and we are developing tools that will help you for these sorts of videos like a ghost camera for exemple ! :)

La vidéo making of part 3 va prendre un peu de retard car notre micro est tombé en panne... nous allons demander à nos amis de Midgar Studio si ils peuvent nous en prêter un sinon il va falloir qu'on en achète un tout neuf :P !

The behind the scenes video part 3 is a bit late because of our microphone that broke down...... we will ask our friends at Midgar studio if we can borrow one, or else we will have to buy a new one :P !
To make you wait patiently I share with you these screenshots of the new area I'm working on :

De son côté Marine est en train de refaire la texture des CheckPoint afin qu'elle soit moins opaque et gène moins la vue pendant les courses. Elle va également cacher de nouvelles GameGirl dans la ville :)

Pour finir, Pierre est en train de travailler sur l'éditeur de missions mais il ne préfère pas faire de promesse pour le moment.


 

 

A part ça, demain l'équipe s'accorde une petite pause pour aller voir Chappie au cinéma :P

Besides, Marine is working on a new texture of the Checkpoints in order to make it less opaque to bother less the view during races, but keep it still noticeable. And she will hide some new GameGirls in the city :)

To finish, Pierre is working on the missions editor but he prefer to not make any promises for now.


Otherwise, the team will take a pause tomorrow in order to watch Chappie at the cinema :P

Okay, the latest pictures make me excited. It seems as if, this being a separate area of the city, the grind rails and other landmark-like-buildings have a different style then what we've been allowed to explore at this point, and I adore that. Not that the current style is bad, (I adore it as well,) but the fact that you can tell immediately what sort of people live there by how it looks is wonderful. Well done!

Voici à quoi ressemblent les nouveaux checkpoints pour les courses. Ils sont plus grands et moins opaques. C'est possible qu'ils évoluent encore à l'avenir...

Here is what the new checkpoint for the races currently look like. They are bigger and less opaque than before. They can still change a bit in the future....

Salut tout le monde !

Peu de nouvelles concernant le développement du jeu en ce moment car on se concentre beaucoup sur la préparation et la communication de la sortie de l'alpha publique sur Steam. Il faut préparer la page Steam avec des textes, des screens et illustrations, commencer à contacter des sites etc... tout ça prend un certain temps. On est toujours pas en mesure d'annoncer une date précise et on en est désolé une fois de plus. Il y a encore des petits bugs mineurs à corriger  et on doit aussi être raccord avec Midgar Studio qui distribue le jeu. On espère que ça sera OK pour la fin du mois de mars mais on évite de faire des promesses, il y a toujours des imprévus.

Depuis hier on est en train de réaliser un tout nouveau trailer. On montrera un maximum du multijoueur, des poursuites de secubox (assez difficile à capturer en vidéo ^^) et des nouvelles zones jouables.

Hi everybody !

No news of the development of the game for now because we are concentrating on preparing the Communication for the public Alpha on Steam. We must prepar the Steam page with texts, screenshots, illustrations, and begin to contact websites etc... All this takes time. We still can't announce a date and sorry again about that. We still have some bugs to fix and we must match with Midgar Studio who is distributing the game.
We hope to be OK for the end of the month but it's not a promise, unexpected things can always happen.

We are working on a new trailer since yesterday. We will show a lot of multiplayer footage, but also secubox chases (really difficult to record ^^) and new playable zones.

Salut tout le monde !

La sortie de l'alpha publique se rapproche à grand pas ! Nous avons fini de préparer la page steam du jeu :) (elle n'est pas encore accessible au public, inutile de la chercher :P). 

Pierre a tout juste fini la première version de l'editeur de mission et je suis actuellement en train de l'utiliser pour créer de nouvelles courses dans la nouvelle zone du quartier 1 d'Hover City (vous la connaissez, vous avez trouvé des failles pour traverser la limite et aller la visiter :P) !

Marine a également conçu de nouveaux objets que les Gamers devront transporter lors de missions spécifiques. Il s'agit d'une petite cage de pet qu'il faudra ramener à son propriétaire et des boites de sushis, l'une des nourritures favorites des habitants d'hover city  :cheekywata:

Marine has also made new items that Gamers will have to carry during specific missions. It's a little animal cage that you will have to bring back to its owner and a sushi box, one of the favourite food of Hover City citizens !
